Opening times:We are open daily from april- october 9:00-16:30 o`clock. From november – march you can send us a request. Normally in the month of november is the cable car is closed, so we cannot offer flights on Zwölferhorn. January to march we often have snow on the mountain. So we cannot offer flights on Zwölferhorn. |
Duration:The duration of the experience is about 1,5 hrs. including around 10-25 minutes of airtime, which can be extended in good thermic conditions (please ask your pilot!). |
Mountain:Normally we always fly from Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen at Wolfgangsee lake. The flying conditions there are usually the best to go tandem paragliding.
Cable Car: To get to the top of the mountain Zwölferhorn we need to ride the cable car. The cable car costs are not included in the flight price. There is still the possibility of hiking up. This takes approximately 2.5 hours. |

Cancellations:If you need to cancel your appointment you need to call or write us an email. You can cancel your appointment up to 48hrs bofore you flight without any reason. If you need to cancel later, please conatct us and discuss this with us. |
Case of bad weather:In the event of bad weather, you will usually be notified by telephone the day before, sometimes between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and the appointment will be rescheduled or canceled. Of course there are no costs for you. We assume that we have a good idea of the weather and will inform you of any cancellation as early as possible. |
Age limit:There is no age limit by law. Nevertheless we recommend an age between 6 and 70 years. Everyone under 18 years needs a consent form from the parent or legal guardian. |

Requirements:Everyone who is able to run fast a few meters down a slope, can fly tandem. This running is essential for the launch.
Additional information for the booking time specially in Summer (June-August): Passengers below 45kg should fly in the morning at around 9:00 o`clock. Passengers around 90kg need to choose an appointment between 12:00 and 14:00 o`clock. This regulation is due to safety regarding the valley wind situation. Our regular weight limit for a passenger is 95 kg. This regulation is due to saftey. If you weight over 95kg, you can send us a request for a flight. If the wind will support us during launch, we can fly with more than 95 kg. Why is the weight important for the time? Around noon (12-2 p.m.) the thermals and the valley wind can become very strong. If we are very light and there is a lot of wind, we are very slow. As a result, the glider flies less smoothly and the flight becomes rather uncomfortable. Also, we may be too slow and have to cancel the flight for safety reasons. At lunchtime we also have the strongest updraft at the launch site due to the thermals. Heavy passengers (80-95 kg) should choose this date. The heavier the passenger, the faster the glider flies. Which we also have to run along when starting. The updraft supports the start. In the air, more weight is also an advantage in strong thermals, as the glider flies more smoothly. |
Meeting point:The meeting point for Zwoelferhorn is usually in the valley at the office near the cable car station. Other mountains like Gaisberg or Loser have the meeting point at the landing field. You will receive the meeting point in the booking confirmation.
Second option for meeting point on Zwölferhorn: If you would like to spend a longer time on the mountain or hike up, you can arrange with us the meeting point on the mountain instead of the meeting point in the office. Please contact us for this option by phone, WhatsApp 0043 699 108 717 98 or email. The meeting point is 15 minutes after your booked appointment at the exit of the cable car mountain station. Please note the limited size of your backpack. Your pilot can only store about the size of a hip pack during the flight. |
Appointment time:The booked time from the appointment is the start time in the office. You should be at the office 5-10 minutes before the appointment time. Normally we always meet at the office for flights on Zwölferhorn. If your are too late, please inform us early enough. We most times can maximum wait 15 minutes for you. Please discuss this with us! |
Escort / spectators:The passenger’s escort / spectator can either watch the take-off or the landing. Both are usually not possible in terms of time. |
Public Transport:For reaching St. Gilgen you can use the bus connetion between Salzburg an Bad Ischl. The busstation in St. Gilgen is directly next to our office. Here is the download link for the bus timetable for the bus no 150. The Gaisberg Mountain is as well reachable by bus. There is a bus going between Salzburg City and Gaisberg Mountain Peak. Equipment:Your necessary equipment to bring to fly tandem will be: solid hiking shoes with a good grip sole and a season- and temperaturematching long-sleeved outfit. We have hiking shoes and jackets in all different sizes to lend for free. Please bring your own socks! |
Weather:Paragliding is regulated by wind and weather conditions. A flight will only be safe in good flying weather conditions. If the weather conditions should not allow a safe flight on your reserved day, we contact you as soon as possible and try to find another appointment for you to fly, or cancel the flight. Please make sure that you have your mobile phone ready and that you gave us the right number in your reservation. Please check your emails as well reguarly 24h bofore your appointment! |
Payment:Payment is always after the flight. Payment can be in cash or by card. The Cards can pay with conatctless payment (as well google pay, or apple pay) or inserd in our terminal but not swiped. |
